A
special legislative task force
has recommended that lawmakers
take no action to restructure
the state's electric industry
in the current General Assembly.
The task force's wait-and-see
stance allows Kentucky to monitor
restructuring progress in other
states. It also will allow
Kentucky to develop options
that protect existing low rates.
