AEP
has the systems in place that
allow you to choose a new Alternative
Electricity Supplier (AES). An
AES is the company that supplies
the electricity you use.
You do not have to choose an AES. You may remain a customer of AEP under existing regulated rates. In fact, because you are in an area of the state where rates are low, it is unlikely that you will receive service offers soon after the market opens.
No matter what you decide, AEP will continue to deliver that power to you - safely and reliably - through the facilities and equipment already in use.
