SCB&LR Shadow Aggregation System
Product Description :The Special Contract Billing & Load Research (SCB&LR)
Section in AEP's Service Corporation (AEPSC) has developed a SAS based computer
system to validate ERCOT's load aggregation system results for AEP Wires customers.
The system consists of a set of SAS databases, SAS code, and associated documentation.
The SAS code utilizes standard load profiling and load aggregation techniques
to provide daily energy use estimates for each customer, as well as 15 minute
estimates of load by various categories such as Operating Company, Congestion
Management Zone, Load Profile Class, Rate Class, etc. The system can also provide,
through the use of forecasted load profiles, an interval level short-term load
forecast.
